We may process the following personal data:
- Contact details provided through the web form: name, phone number and email address.
- Optional health data that you voluntarily disclose during the initial assessment (medical history, injuries, physical limitations). These are collected only with your explicit consent.
- Website usage data collected via analytical cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
3. Purposes of processing
We use your data to:
- Contact you to schedule your free initial assessment.
- Provide the personal training service and manage your training plan.
- Administrative management: invoicing, attendance tracking and service communications.
- Send our own marketing communications (news, offers, blog content), always with your prior consent and with the option to unsubscribe at any time.
4. Legal basis
The processing of your data is based on:
- Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): for the contact form and marketing communications.
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): to manage the training service once the relationship has begun.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): for applicable accounting and tax obligations.
5. Retention period
We retain your data for as long as the contractual or commercial relationship with you subsists. After it ends, we keep your data for the applicable legal retention periods (generally 5 years for accounting and tax data, unless a different legal provision applies). Contact data of individuals who do not become clients is deleted within a maximum of 12 months from the first contact.
6. Recipients
We do not share your data with third parties without your explicit consent, except in the following cases:
- Data processors providing services to us: hosting provider, email marketing platform and, where applicable, HubSpot CRM. All of them act under a data processing agreement and with adequate safeguards.
- Legal obligation: when required by a public authority or court order.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access: know what data we hold about you.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: request that we delete your data when it is no longer necessary.
- Objection: object to the processing, especially for marketing purposes.
- Restriction: ask us to limit the use of your data in certain circumstances.
- Portability: receive your data in a structured format and transfer it to another controller.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
8. How to exercise your rights
Write to info@barcelonabarbellclub.com stating the right you wish to exercise and attaching a copy of your identity document. We will respond within a maximum of one month.
